Established in 1984, Overclean provide a range of services associated with the management of air conditioning and ventilation systems nationwide.  The services provided by Overclean are designed to enable an organization to control and maintain acceptable levels of internal cleanliness and hygiene within its air conditioning and ventilation systems.

Overclean strive to maintain standards and quantify this by in external audits by third parties, such as NQA ISO 9001, LPCB LPS 2084 & SEDEX Ethical Audits.  Overcleans accreditations to SSIP (site safety in procurement) with SMAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, CHAS & Avetta.

Overclean has been involved within the industry raising standards and guidance with Senior Management making contributions to standards with various organisations and BSI.

Overclean are also involved in NAADUK – National Association of Air Duct Specialists UK – whose objective is to improve industry standards in ventilation hygiene and facilitating CEO Peter Reid, founder of the company, acts as an expert witness on behalf of Insurance Companies with a 100% success rate. He has also developed training courses in ductwork cleaning, kitchen extract cleaning and fire & smoke damper testing, CITB NI & CPD approved.

In 2018 Peter Reid was recognised for his long career in the ductwork and air hygiene industry by being honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the ninth annual HVR (Heating and Ventilation Review) Awards.
