WHO'S PROMOTING THEM?

The HVCA (Heating and Ventilation Contractors Association) SFG group are promoting the log-books as necessary items for ensure compliance to regulations and laws. WHAT FORMAT DOES IT TAKE?

There are in fact two formats for the AHL. It comes in either paper (PAHL) or electronic (EAHL). The PAHL is your best friend in this matter. It is an A4 size book with information on everything you'll need to keep up-to-date. It is designed for refined and defined Data Collection.

Within the PAHL are sections regarding the details of the building, the company that owns the building, the details of ductwork surveys, including important and necessary subsections concerning all the information about the ductwork system. Furthermore, there are sections for Recommendations, budget value of such cleaning and recommendations as well as the dates of renewal and expiry of covering Hygiene certificates.

The EAHL version is not as slippery a subject as it might sound. It is the same system as the PAHL, except that it works on and can be updated via any computer system.
